Foundation of Fit

• Body measurement points (child & adult basics)
• Ease – what it is & why it matters
• Common measurement mistakes
• Introduction to drafting tools

• Basic block understanding

• Neck shaping
• Armhole shaping
• Basic flare concept

Now design thinking begins.

• Circular flare vs A-line
• Print placement
• Color balance
• Proportion logic
• Why some garments look “heavy”
